About Me

started my career in psychology as a writer and editor for Multi-Health Systems Inc., a major publisher of psychological assessments. Since completing a master’s degree in counseling psychology in 2016, I have been working with patients from the general population as well as patients of motor vehicle accidents who’ve suffered significant trauma and resultant PTSD.

Further, I volunteer with the Centre for Inquiry Canada, an educational charity, where I serve on the Board of Directors as Mental Health Chair. As part of my duties, for four years I ran a monthly support group for people who are leaving or have left the religion that they were raised with. The discussions in this group are fascinating and I’m always grateful for the chance to learn from another’s background and for the chance to help them along their journey. I have also been accredited as a Humanist chaplain, through the training at a charity called Humanist Canada.

When I'm not obsessing over my fantasy baseball team, I'm either watching boxing or training in the hopes of one day being half as fit as a boxer.
